潮汕平原北西向断裂左旋走滑运动的地貌证据和速率   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
地处粤东的潮汕平原发育北西向与北东向两组活动断裂.经航片仔细解译,发现黄岗水断裂和丰顺-汕头断裂的部分段落呈明显水系左旋位错现象.野外调查证实了沿该两条断裂的地貌体位移,并选择3处位移点作了大比例尺地形图测绘,对被位移地貌体进行了采样测年.经计算,黄岗水断裂和丰顺-汕头断裂的全新世左旋走滑运动平均速率分别达1.11±0.09~2.69±0.24 mm/a和3.26±0.26 mm/a.这些较强活动的北西向断裂延伸入海与海域水深40~50m处的北东向牛山岛-兄弟屿-南澎列岛强活动断裂的交汇处是发生强震的有利部位.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We calculated the sedimentary budget of the Northwest Sub-basin (NWSB), South China Sea for different geological times based on interpretations of four multichannel seismic profiles across the basin with constraints from International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expeditions 367 and 368 drilling results. Sedimentation was generally dominated by regional tectonic events and climate change, but complicated by local tectonic events and geographic position, which resulted in a specific sedimentary budget in the NWSB compared with other marginal basins and the Southwest Sub-basin. The sedimentation rate was relatively low following the opening of the NWSB but increased gradually during the Middle Miocene, corresponding to the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the Asian monsoon. It reached its peak in the Late Miocene, corresponding to uplift of the Dongsha Island region that caused intensive bypass of eroded sediments from the Baiyun Sag into the abyssal basin, and reduced again during the Pliocene because of sediment storage on the wide northern continental shelf area compared to the abyssal basin during a period of high-stand sea level. Increase in sedimentation during the Pleistocene suggests that continental erosion and sediment transport to the abyssal basin were enhanced by an intensified Asian summer monsoon and glacial-interglacial climate fluctuations. Since the opening of the NWSB, the primary sediment provenance has been from southern China, with minor contributions from the Red River, Hainan Island, as well as local uplifts on the continental shelf.  相似文献

朝山金矿床位于安徽铜陵狮子山矿田,属于矽卡岩型金矿床,侵入岩体为白芒山辉石二长闪长岩体。成矿过程包括矽卡岩阶段、石英-硫化物阶段和碳酸盐阶段3个主要成矿阶段。文章通过对朝山金矿床的氢、氧、碳、硫、硅同位素组成和稀土元素地球化学特征的研究,探讨成矿溶液中水、碳、硅和硫的来源以及成矿溶液的演化问题。研究表明,成矿热液早期以岩浆热液为主,随着成矿过程的进行,加入的大气降水比重越来越大,到晚期可能主要以大气降水为主。该矿床矿石中方解石的碳、氧同位素组成与矿区大理岩的碳、氧同位素组成明显不同,其δ^13 Cv-PDB、δ^18OV-SMOW值分别为-4.5~-5.3‰、13.9~14.0‰,与岩浆作用形成的CO2的碳、氧同位素组成一致,表明矿石中方解石的碳、氧来源于岩浆作用。硅和硫具深部岩浆或岩浆热液来源的特点。  相似文献

加蓬海岸盆地主要分为南加蓬次盆和北加蓬次盆,是典型的西非被动大陆边缘含盐盆地,盐岩的分布具有一定规律性和差异性,并且对盆地内油气成藏具有重要的控制作用。分析了加蓬海岸盆地的构造演化与沉积充填特征、基本石油地质条件、盐岩的分布特征及其对盆地烃源岩特征、储层分布、圈闭特征、封盖条件、油气成藏,以及油气藏储量等各方面的影响与控制作用,并指出,由于加蓬海岸盆地的绝大多数油气成藏都与盐岩密不可分,因此深化盆地内盐岩展布特征的研究,对进一步评价北加蓬次盆的盐下层系及南次盆登泰尔地堑的勘探潜力具有重要意义。  相似文献

新生界火山岩是泰国Phetchabun盆地Wichian Buri次盆的主要含油气岩系,但因火山岩喷发环境复杂,喷发期次频繁,造成火山岩岩性复杂,识别难度较大,岩相展布不清,这些因素严重制约着油气的进一步勘探和开发。通过岩心、岩石薄片、测井及地震等资料分析,总结了研究区火山岩的岩性特征,并提出相应的识别方法,同时对火山岩的发育期次和岩相展布进行了研究。结果表明:①研究区火山岩类型丰富,从基性岩至酸性岩、熔岩至火山角砾岩都有发育,以偏碱性玄武岩为主; ②自然伽马、密度及光电吸收界面指数测井对火山岩成分变化最为敏感,成像测井可以提供火成岩的结构和构造信息,两者结合可准确地识别火山岩岩性; ③结合测井和地震响应特征,研究区新生界火山岩为3期喷发的产物,可识别出火山通道相、溢流相、爆发相和火山沉积相等岩相类型,并预测其分布规律。研究成果为研究区火山岩的岩性识别提供了有效手段,并明确了岩相展布特征,可为研究区的油气勘探和开发提供一定的依据。  相似文献

The Northern Carnarvon Basin of Western Australia has experienced a polyphase deformation history during the breakup of Gondwana. Extension during the Carboniferous–Permian and a subsequent Early Jurassic rift event imposed two distinct fault systems, separated by a several kilometre-thick Triassic sedimentary sequence. Inboard areas, where Triassic sequences are thinner, Jurassic faults both detach above and also penetrate into Permian sequences. Other large-scale faults demonstrate a vertical hard/soft linkage between the two fault systems. In outboard areas where the Triassic is thicker, the relationship is less clear owing to the lower resolution of Permian sequences in seismic data. Here we undertake fault displacement analysis on three faults on the southern margin of the Exmouth Plateau to investigate the growth mechanism of Jurassic-aged faults and possible structural influence of deeper Permian faults. We find evidence of low-throw faults restricted to Mesozoic strata as more complex-segmented faults that have nucleated at a depth below that resolvable on seismic data. When considered in a regional context, the nature of faults in this study suggest oblique reactivation of the NE-trending Permian fabric, under east–west-oriented extension.  相似文献

Sufyan Sub-basin is an East-West trending Sub-basin located in the northwestern part of the Muglad Basin (Sudan), in the eastern extension of the West and Central Africa Rift System (WCARS). The trend of the Sufyan Sub-basin (E-W) is different from the general trend of Muglad Basin (NW-SE) and similar to Baggara basin in the west of Sudan and other basins in east Chad. The unique E-W trend, suggests that this Sub-basin originated by a mechanism different from Muglad Basin that is considered more extensional in origin. Five regional seismic lines are included to illustrate the structural and stratigraphic variation across the Sub-basin. Fault polygons maps for six horizons, four isopach maps, five cross-sections, and two associated kinematic models are presented in this study. Sufyan Sub-basin is characterized by rhombic geometry with three boundary faults; two of those faults exhibit dextral strike slip movement, with two depocenters at the western and eastern segments of the southern fault. Structural interpretation of Sufyan Sub-basin based on 2D seismic data highlights the style of strike-slip related structure. Negative flower structures, en-echelon faults, and rhombic geometry all suggest a significant component of a pull-apart transtensional movement in Sufyan Sub-basin. Other alternative scenarios for evolutionary history and the forming mechanism were introduced such as the oblique extension model. The Sufyan Sub-basin is believed to be highly affected by the Central African Shear Zone (CASZ). In this study, several transtension and oblique rift related features interpreted from Bouguer gravity map and seismic data are briefly described and illustrated. Based on this study, the favorable areas for hydrocarbon accumulation are the areas of flower structure and the areas that near to the two depocenters that controlled by the southern boundary fault.  相似文献
